If you’re looking for a perfect getaway filled with mountain views, cozy food, and family fun, Dollywood’s Harvest Festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is the place to be.
This past weekend, we headed to Dollywood to enjoy the sights, sounds, Fall decor, and flavors of the season – and it did not disappoint!
From pumpkin displays to live performers and a park that transforms into a glowing wonderland at night, Dollywood knows how to celebrate fall in true Southern style.
At the end of this blog post, you will find our 5 best tips for visiting Dollywood in the Fall.

Fall Food and Sweet Treats at Dollywood
Dollywood’s fall menu is packed with cozy comfort foods and seasonal flavors. This year, they’re offering a Harvest Festival Tasting Pass, which lets you choose up to five specialty food or drink items from select booths across the park.
Although we didn’t grab the tasting pass this time (we’ve gotten them for other seasonal festivals), it’s a fun way to sample everything from pumpkin-flavored desserts to savory Southern entrees.
If you skip the pass, there are still plenty of sit-down restaurants and snack stands throughout the park offering delicious Southern cooking and sweet treats.

Another reason we love Dollywood – they let you bring in your own food and drinks. Grab yourself a travel Hydro Flask water bottle and toss your favorite snacks in your backpack to save money.
With that said, there’s nothing like the southern food and sweet seasonal treats sold in the park!
Some of our favorite stops:
Aunt Granny’s Restaurant – homestyle Southern buffet
Front Porch Café – comfort meals with a cozy, country vibe
Spotlight Bakery – massive cinnamon rolls and baked goods
Miss Lillian’s Smokehouse – great BBQ and sides (this has been highly recommended but we haven’t tried it yet)

Y’all know my love for baking sourdough bread – so we had to try the famous Dollywood Cinnamon Bread. It’s a classic that will leaving you ready to come back for more!
Our Favorite Rides and Attractions
Dollywood has just the right mix of rides for all ages. It’s big enough to spend a full day exploring but small enough that you can experience most of the park in 1-2 days without feeling rushed.
This trip, we rode the Wild Eagle coaster for the first time – and it instantly became our new favorite ride!
It’s smooth, thrilling, and gives you an incredible view of the Smoky Mountains when climbing the first big hill.

We also took time to watch the live performers, stroll through the Dolly Parton Experience, and step inside to admire her iconic wardrobe and timeless accessories.
Every corner of the park reflects Dolly’s inspiring story, creativity, and heart for people.

Why We Chose Dollywood Seasonal Passes
Knowing we would visit several times throughout the year, we decided to invest in Dollywood’s seasonal pass.
The passes have been a great way to save money and make the most of the seasonal events – Spring Flower & Food Festival, Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration, the Christmas events, and, of course, the Fall Harvest Festival.
Beyond savings, having a pass allows us to visit multiple times, capture photos and videos for Our Blue Ridge House travel content on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and right here on the blog.
If you’re within driving distance of plan to visit Dollywood more than once a year, a season pass quickly pays for itself.
